Personal piece of Astera.I'm very pleased with how this came out, despite having minor problems getting the Plague effects right. During the last touches, it occurred to me that I would never make commissions with this quality unless I was paid more than 3 months worth of my irl income. Three evenings/nights went into this one and my back began hating me even more.

Glad to see there are others who agree. The picture's dragon(Astera) doesn't even have the most apparel I have seen on a dragon and it still took a good while to make. Now imagine a dragon with its apparel slots full...

OOF I can only imagine :') I'm not terribly good at clothing + accessories yet, so I tend to avoid heavily accessorized characters. Plus I like to see their original pretty colorsΒ Β―\_(γ)_/Β―

I prefer to draw dragons with not much stuff on them as well. With commissions though, people tend to get pissy if you wish they would pick another dragon, with less complicated stuff on them. ... If they even have any.

Oof, I've never done FR commissions so I wouldn't know, but that sounds irritating. You should state it in your ToS that you're more willing to accept dragons with fewer accessories and will likely ask for a simpler one, or something of the like.
