YO.Ok, this is Jinx, the second character of my little magic group.
Zodiac ([link] ) being the first one.
I'm actually going to try selling these, so before I hand over my artwork to my mom to make cards, I know I have some good constructive-critisizers out here to help me out beforehand.
I know I have a lot of shit going on in this picture, but I feel like I've either done too much of something, or too little. For instance, the middle and up seem a little.... Empty?
I dunno, someone help me out here, I need another few pairs of eyes OTL

You have quite a bit of red going on in the first half with no patterns and jewellery stuff on the bottom, maybe that's what's missing?
I dunno, man, from where I'm standing, it looks pretty damn fabulous :'D

Uh, I haven't really thought of their story or anything, so when I've got more done, I'll write a huge thing about them all and what they're about xD

You were so very right about the fabulous hair. I just love how Jinx is holding it up like those huge fur shawls from the 30s, it just looks snazzy 
You're right that the balance is a bit off. For a start, I think you overdid the lighting a bit, it's rather distracting... but it's mostly the yellow symbol on the floor, it unfortunately takes my attention away from DA HARE because it's so bright and detailed. If you want to keep it, you might want to make it fainter, because it's the details on Jinx we want to eye at. The bottom half of him/her does seem plain compared to the top half, but design-wise, I think that's okay because it simply retains attention where it's needed. But I think the trousers and foot anatomy could do with more caution...
And you're thinking of selling these?

I'm so bad at taking criticism of any kind as I usually take it as a direct hit to the face, but YOU ARE ALWAYS RIGHT. ALWAYS. RIGHT.
I'm so glad I have people like you to help with these things because I usually just go OVERBOARD with everything, hahah xDDD
Looking back on it again, today, I think maybe lowering the brightness of the red on his/her face because that's a bit too much red in an area when the theme is Yellow and Purple.
I shall definitely do something about the brightness of the symbol. I was wondering if I should keep it there and make it a little fainter, or maybe make it a whole lot fainter and put it behind his/her head, but I don't really know...
Uhmm... I need to sort out the lighting at the top seriously. There's too many colours there.
It's as if the the picture is top heavy on light effects and the bottom is trying to make up for that in brightness rather than detail.
Really unbalanced.

Fullbody shots can be difficult to do DX
I think you're okay with the colour scheme, Jinx's fabulous hair colour dominates most of the page, so the other golds and reds compliment the picture well since they're used pretty sparingly.
