Aha! I remember reading that story! And I remember my sister had to write is sequel to it in sixth grad. xD;; It was really dumb. Rikki-Tikki-Tavi was all "omg birthday party!" but they didn't have the ingredients for the cake! Or something lame. xD;;
Anyway, awesome job! I really love the 'standoff'-ish feeling it gives! Lovely coloring too! ^0^ Red eyes, yes!

So... I am not really sure what 'movie' people are talking about, or where the lyric-poem thing is from, but I like it in conjunction with the drawing. The sun and the shadowing is really nice as well, lovely work on it all. But if I were that Merkat (That's the proper name, eh?) I would run fast as hell!

Shh, Mongoose. An Indian thing that likes to eat snakes. The lyric is from Rudyard Kipling's "Rikki-Tikki-Tavi". I think it may be part of The Jungle Book, but I could be wrong since I've never read the whole thing. It's a good story, though.
