Acho que os olhos são uma das partes em que mais me esforço nos meus desenho, pois eles devem contar a história e a personalidade da pessoa retratada!
Sim, é uma espécie de apelido militar que ela tem, e não me lembro de terem dito qual era o 'nome real' dela no mangá. Balalaika é também um instrumento de cordas tradicional da Rússia! (a personagem é russa) E tem mesmo uma vodka com esse nome XD

interesting character...face seems to be a bit too small compared to her body, i would use softer brushes for her skin and maybe add fading effect to bruhes you used to draw her hair...that is for cirtique...
nice colors and i like how hard hard stokes on her clothes and cold blue eyes accent the stenghof her character..

The body thing is that she uses a very large militar coat over her shoulders, but without wearing the sleeves.. what gives a impression of too large shoulders
I'm trying to make a change in my painting style using rougher brushes, with visible brush strokes... but I still need to work on it, to not make things ugly =/
