I can't really even think of how many people would have been sent to the hospital if I was a girl, if I was still myself as I am now anyway, probably could have grown up with a different mentality if I'd actually been a girl, though. As myself, I've never even tried to bother getting close to girls since they don't have anything to do with me either, so I just shrug the idea off and get bored of it... some people are a lot more dedicated to their desperation, I guess.

10 000 USD? Wow, are you going to stay at a 5 star hotel and gamble at a casino? I went for a trip in Kyoto for a month and it was just 1300 USD including meals, souvenirs, several museums and car rent that went to 200km. I just stayed at a guest house that cost 12 USD a night...
A mixer is where you gather several random people and meet up at a place - with the idea of hooking/socializing. So it is acceptable to flirt there.

Well, I say 10k as a good round number, but also because of the other stuff I'd need to have repaired or replaced(like my car, or a new computer, new clothes) before I'd even consider spending 1~3k on a very distant trip for no reason. Also if you were in Australia or wherever in that Pacifica area, you were probably closer to Japan and didn't have to pay as much as you would coming here from the middle of America(passports also take months to get approved, and aren't exactly free). And while maybe not a 5 star hotel, I'd at least like something that doesn't involve public baths, at most.

No... I mean that I'd need to have already spent through about 8k or so to be in the 'safe zone' financially before I start throwing money away on trips. In other words, I wouldn't want to be flat-broke when I got back, I'd need to be able to pick up where I left off.
