EDIT: I went back in and added some glow to his markings and eye, toned down the lightning orb, gave it a glow, and made it a little more blurry around the edges, and added some of them spiffy movement lines. D:Late birthday gift for the wonderful : her demon stag character, Daigo.
But really, this guy is pwnsome. Demon stag?! yesplz. I loved Daigo's design since the moment I first saw him, and I've wanted to draw him since. xD
Daigo has the power to summon storms and lightning, hence him...jumping through a storm.
I'm not too fond of the "clouds" in the background, I was really just waving my tablet pen around. x) But I do rather like Daigo himself, and the lightning was surprisingly fun to draw...Oh, and I'm pretty sure I messed up his side markings.

The lightening is so awesome! Great job on it ^^ But my favorite part is the horns, the shading and glow on them is fabulous I just said fabulous D=> and so is the perspective. I also like the darkness of the pic, it's nice (= I have a problem with making things dark D8 xD

Say wha? Aww no I think the clouds turned out wonderful. About 100% of the time clouds are some of the easiest things to drawβ¦it's just that we artists reject that concept. Haha. I like 'em; they're kinda mistyβ¦foggy if you will, just like the milky clouds that span the skies before a big storm. You captured that perfectly~
Aye, nice work on the lighting, too: the contrast between the lightning/Daigo's "glows" and the darkened background really makes the piece stand out. Awww you. You sure do make lightning look fun to draw!

Haha the word "Levitas" I almost translated as Mallet's scientific classification, but I decided on "Fulmen" instead. Fulmen and Levitas, I think, both mean "Lightning". Poor me; I sat here staring for the longest while before I remembered that. xD

Nice work on the rain effect also, sometimes it's difficult to keep the angle from changing.
The Orb looks cool, I wouldn't tone it down at all, in fact, I might strengthen the glow on it a bit. The antlers are awesome!!

Well, I want to tone it down because it's not supposed to be that visible. Like, it says in one of Kodriak's pictures of him that it's supposed to be a "small and faint ball of lightning."

Just out of curiosity, do you have a dictionary(online/book) that you use to translate Latin? I've been searching for one for ages and haven't found anything. Latin's got to be the best language for meaning.

ah yeah, I use this site. it's really handy. you can translate back and forth between english and the more common languages, but also between languages like latin, greek, welsh, and slovenian.
