This picture has such a history.It started out happy. It was a nice drawing. I sketched it out on the happiest day of my life so far. I was so incredibly ecstatic I just thought, hey. I'm going to draw :]
I finished it on the worst day of my life.
That's why she's not leaning like she should be if she was just shot.
Honestly, I hate this picture. I really do. It's terrible.
"Hide Your Feathers" is a line from a song that will now always have a place with me. It both helped me and made things worse. "Feathers" by Coheed and Cambria. This verse, especially:
No other, would wait for a lover.
To embrace, boy, when there's no more room for love,
You'll sell her off to the sharks

Don\'t hate the picture though, it really is good! Very emotional. It leaves a great impact on the viewer. \'Twas what you were going for right? Well it was achieved. The pose really is great too. Like she happily jumped up, at a bad timing. :/
The hair on the tail is also extremely good. And the eye..it just peers into your soul and makes you so sad. :\'[

I'm with =jack07 here... what a depressing tale behind this picture. It's a real pity when a picture starts out so cheerful, then ends up being one of grief. I hope that whatever happened doesn't plague you emotionally.
The picture is quite lovely, though. It has a nice sketchy look to it without being too rough, and your color choices are simply marvelous. And the needle line going straight through her heart... that's great stuff right there: simple but effective. Your emotional art is always top-notch, mate, keep it up. c:

I've been running around doing stuff constantly, keeping my mind occupied. Whenever I just hang around, or like when I'm trying to go to sleep, I think way too much. Saturday night I finally had to put some screamo music on at 2am because I couldn't stop...
