Description
Another from Schindler's List.Amon Goeth tries to shoot a Jewish man in the head for not
producing enough door hedges.
He takes the the man outside and attempts to kill him but his gun fails to work countless times. Even the other guards' guns do not work when he attempts to shoot him. He gives up and leaves the man alive out of frustration.
Note: I am in no way 'glorifying' this act. It was a haunting and powerful scene in the movie, that is the reason why I made this! Makes you wonder if there was something out there that stopped the gun from going off...

I remember holding my breath at this scene in the movie; all the death and suffering that had occurred..well, it was nice to have just a small relief from that in this one scene.

In the book, it says that even his personal revolver doesn't work. It's as if something rubbed down the firing pins at that exact moment...since moments before he had been using it...rather mysterious when added to the fact that the man he attempted to shoot was a Rabbi.

I liked that scene! I wonder what went through the head of the poor guy waiting to get shot as he realized Amon's gun wasn't working....
