Another WIP of the first drawing from my Three Dragon Pictures project! I still donβt have a scanner available but this time I got more steady hands to take a picture so this WIP is not as shaky as the first one . Again edited with MS Word. Decided to add green color on the pic because artificial light makes photos look ugly yellow and I couldn't get rid of it otherwise... We didn't have nice sunlight today so that I could have gone outside to take photos in prettier nature light.
Please note that you're not allowed to use this lineart.

Now i'm even more excited to see the coloration.

Mine haven't always looked very magical; I started drawing backgrounds only couple of years ago. And still long way to go before I can be happy with them myself! ^^

I am often planning on drawing pictures without heavy linearts but I always get back to them. I just enjoy inking too much!

Oh!!! This is looking awesome. The dragon has such a pretty design - those wings!! and those horns!! And of course those baby wolves (or maybe foxes, I'm not sure!) are absolutely adorable! They look so happy cuddled up next to the dragon. The whole scene is just evokes serene and peaceful feelings.

I think those little fluff balls might be foxes... I used my Corgi as an inspiration for them so species is not that accurate.
I have already started coloring but it miiiight get a while before everything is finished. Dang me always adding too many details.

No, I didn't draw this with Word but only edited the photo of the drawing.
This is drawn traditionally with a marker, I couldn't draw anything like this with Paint (or any other digital program, I suck with digital linearts). ^^

Of course it is weird, it would be better to use normal tools like scanner and proper editing programs but because I don't have those at the moment I had to be creative with the tools I had available.

I have already painted basecolors so hopefully I am able to add details today. However I am probably not going to take a shot of the finished version but post a proper scan instead so I must wait at the end of the week when I am at home again.

Oh and sent my reply too early, didn't answer your question...
I added the picture in Word document (used MS Word 2007 version), selected Format and then I am able to change brigthness and contrast and even colors with Recolor option.
Then I used Snipping tool to save the edited picture in jpg format. Of course I'd prefer a proper picture editing program but sometimes you just have to use tools that are available.
