I am practicing drawing again. I did this next one from scratch, just using various photos as a reference. I drew it on paper first, then scanned it and painted it in using Corel painter.It is a scene from the Star Wars Book Bloodlines by Karen Traviss. In this scene Jacen tells Ben Skywalker to wait outside while he interrogates a prisoner. Ben is outside and has to endure the sound of screams for hours as Jacen brutilizes a prisoner until she dies.
Ben is about 14 years old in this book and up to this point he looked up to Jacen as his Jedi Master. Now he is a very confused young man. We can only hope that he sees the light soon and informs his father of what is going on.

Yeah, I do a lot of Star Wars themed drawings. I am a closet Star Wars geek and have been one for about 29 years. My real life friends have no clue. LOL
Yes, there is a Ben Skywalker. He is from the Star Wars novels. He is the son of Luke Skywalker (the same fellow from the movies). There is probably a hundred Star Wars books out and I have probably read about 30 of them.
I probably should branch out to other types of drawings. The only reason I do Star Wars art is that I first got interested in drawing when I accidently found a Star Wars FanArt site last year. I really loved the drawings and thought I would try my hand at them.
Since I am teaching myself to paint I guess it really doesn't matter what I draw as long as I am drawing.

Yeah, it is a terrible situation. He has to sit outside listening to the screams of a prisoner being tortured by his beloved cousin and mentor. I hope Luke and Mara wise up and get him away from Jacen.

I hope so too. We of the Luke Fan Club at TFN (TheForce.net) had a big discussion about that a few months ago. I don't read much EU (well, I don't read any, for that matter), but I'm familiar enough with it to keep myself alive amongst those who do. And because I don't read much of the EU, I'm not all that knowledgeable with it, so I didn't know what was going on with Jacen, so I suggested "Hey! Wouldn't it be interesting if he went to the Dark Side!" I expected a Jacen fan to slink into the thread and pelt me with rotten tomatoes, but instead fellow Luke fans said "That is what's happening." Lucky guess for me. But yeah, I can definitely see Jacen as a huge threat. The "Darth Who" contest kinda made that really clear.

Is it just me, or do you want to reach into the SW universe and start shaking some sense into people? I want to slap Jacen upside the head and tell him to stop being such a moron. I want to knock Luke and Mara's heads together and tell them "I don't care if your son is a Jedi apprentice. He's 14 years old! He shouldn't be breaking down doors with the Corsucant secret police!"
Arrrggghhh... but then I remember what my husband always tells me, "Star Wars is not a documentary!"

Then again, im a jacen fan so i hope they dont bump him off too early! I mean if he's gonna be bad lets see him become the biggest baddest sithlord of all!

Yeah, either allow him to be the biggest baddest Sith Lord, or give us a twist, like he really knew what he was doing.
Like Ailyn Vel was a key piece in the whole universe going to crap. That taking her out of the picture made things better. I know Luke would say the ends don't justify the means, but at least give us that.
I think we could forgive Jacen's transgressions if it was all for the best of the galaxy. I mean we forgave Kyp and he destroyed a solar system that had a planet teaming with human life. I think if we can forgive somebody for blowing up a planet, we can forgive Jacen for killing a handful of people.
Of course, have you noticed that Jacen's sins seem almost worse than Kyp's. I guess it is because his are so much more personal and done in cold blood.

yeah your right about the kyp thing! Jacens crimes seem so much 'nastier' but kyp blows up half a galaxy and now he's a jedi master lol
