something about the lighter feet/boots that is super appealing to me! reminds me of those old chinese foot binding practices, but hopefully it's a bit more comfortable.. *_* as always though, GOSH your designs never ever fail to blow me away!!

Yes, the lotus shoes was definitely one of my inspiration to her feet. They're prosthetic feet so she don't need to worry.

I work for Marvel and I also get pretty busy. If you noticed, I've only been doing character designs for personal work b/c it doesn't take much time compared to doing illustrations. I get pretty stressed out with work so doing some personal work really helps.

the ancient sort of stony muted greens + blocky look of her equipment in contrast with the futuristic vibe of her sleek bodysuit has a super unique and timeless feel- im curious though, the canisters on her hips are what equate to lighter fillers, yes? also, when she uses the fire in her boots, does she do a quick sort of flicking motion with her foot while striding into a kick? like you would flick an actual lighter wheel? or does the friction alone from her picking her foot off the ground ignite the heel of her shoe?

Maybe I'm over-analyzing this, but why does Bl4ze have a very toned upper body with less muscular definition in her legs? Is it meant to reflect a certain type of sport or occupation?
I like the new design, especially with the sames of expressions. It makes her look hot-headed (lol) without seeming petulant.
