# About me
A wandering writer, traveler and drinker.Originally from Mexico now I make Asia my stomping grounds.
I grew up in the city of Leon, Mexico, graduated in Media Studies from the Iberoamericana University, did my thesis on Hong Kong film director Wong Kar Wai, one of the only works about Hong Kong cinema available in Spanish, you can find a copy of it in the Hong Kong Film Archives.
Moved to China in 2006, where I have been a teacher, a student and a vagabond, for a while I owned and managed a Mexican bar/restaurant in Lijiang Old Town in Yunnan province.
I was the lead developer and setting writer for Legends of the Wulin an English language, tabletop RPG published by EOS Sama and I am still working with them as a writer and consultant on the Wuxia Action Line.
Spent last year in Los Angeles taking Screenwriter classes and developing the concepts for an animated show, with my brother who is Disney Animator Alonso Ramirez.
Currently I am back in China working on RPG, comics and screenplay projects.
