i amm still fascinated how sclose to dreams you paint. esp those paintings in rooms have such a strange and unreal feeling. i wonder how you come up with your painting ideas?

at the moment my concept is to turn pictures of rooms upside down, which mostly already adds a strange feeling to that room. Then I sometimes add reflections (as in this one), figures, and other stuff to make the room look as if it were a normal room. Other paintings are simply based on an associative drawing I made before.

it remindes me of the time when i was a child. i often used to lay on the bench with my head hanging down so i could see the world the other way round
