the carpet is part of the enigma;
you think you're an outsider, looking in on the rest of the human race but not feeling a member of it.
i know cos i certainly feel this way also.
i find it interesting that t6he carpet is the shape of a pyramid, and that it has a chequerboard pattern square near the top. symbollism there i think. the other little boxes could also signify earth, air fire and water with soul as the one she is touching perhaps?
i dont really expect a response though as you seem swamped by m,essages. no surprise, your a brilliant artist.

The perspective drew me immediately to the piece. Took me about 5 minutes to read the word "crisis"... Now the next 5 minutes is an imagination exercise as to the emotion. (by the way, I just read your journal entry on immortality... I must read the responses and comment myself)
