My half of an art trade with AltarDragon of her MTT Linkin c:

So I had this nearly complete a couple weeks ago, but got stuck on the shading. You'd think with a nice, smooth skinned critter such as an MTT that shading would be a breeze, right? Nope. Or maybe it is, and I just try too hard and overcomplicate things. Thaaaat could be it. I finally got into the groove of shading last night and so I figured I'd finish this fella. Shading still took 2 hours though. 'Cause I suck. But whatever, I'm really happy with how Linkin here turned out ♥ High contrast coloration usually doesn't go too well with my style of shading and highlights, so I'm pretty surprised I actually made it work heh. And then I figured out how to do this cool red-cyan split effect in sai recently, so I figured I'd add it in with my finishing touches. It's a little harsh on the eyes, but I thought it was a bit more interesting to look at than without it. And Linkin is a 10/10 total babsy boof ♥ He was much fun~
