The space tug Galileo periodically brings the Hubble Space Telescope to Space Station Enterprise for servicing an upgrades. Hubble was moved to an orbit co-planar with the station in to 2000s to avoid the need to fly dedicated shuttle missions to keep it serviced.

Just like what obviously happened in the film 'Gravity', which is very clearly an alternate history movie. So there.
