Description
A new dragon! *gasp*
I was most inpired by 's water dragon Sephry last night and thought that I'd like to give it a go. The last watery dragon thingy was the Hammerhead Lindworm from a while back and that turned out really well, so why not give it a go again?
The result is Nile, an Aqua Lóng. Very peaceful, doesn't show much temprement and generally a nice character. His name comes from the river in Egypt, it was the first thing that came to mind when I started dreaming up a name for him.

Story bio
Estimated height: 20 – 30 feet, including head ‘crest’
Estimated length: 80 feet + from nose to tail

‘Nile’ is the first discovered Elemental on the continent. Logs show that they existed but we had yet to find one. The Elemental are thought to be extremely wise from thousands of years of life on the planet, mastering an element of which they feel most akin to. Nile is a Water Elemental, having adapted for sea life.
He resides at the bottom of Lake Meer, the largest known, and rarely ventures from a cave we believe to be his lair. He is much thinner in appearance than other dragons more commonly seen, giving him a very streamline appearance and more hydrodynamics in the water. He lacks a pair of wings also, so it is debated whether he can fly or not. He is able to submerge for extremely long periods of time which we are unable to estimate. Sub-cams appear to have picked up gills along the creatures neck, however this could be faulty equipment, meaning the creature may be able to hold it’s breath for untold lengths of time. His hands and feet are webbed which, along with the enormous fin on the end of the tail, provide extremely fast acceleration from next to no speed. Sub-cams are extremely slow mechs, so we are unable to estimate a top speed underwater without developing the technology.
He was first sighted, oddly, from the lake side, where he was seen calmly scanning the area around the lake, stood on hind legs similar to how Meercats would scout around their burrows. He vanished into the lake when he spotted the search team, but was spotted near the centre of the lake soon after, only visible by the rows of horns/fins lining his neck and the predominant three-pronged crest on his head. The team stated that he resembled ‘several sharks circling the lake in unison’.
His temperament is something other known dragons could desire. He appears extremely placid and is extremely curious. He was often seen investigating the Sub-cams when played back and never seemed to mind them being in ‘his’ lake.
It is hypothesised that other elementals could be residing on the continent, however if Nile is anything to go by, it is unlikely they will show themselves willingly.
