She's a dryad emerging from her tree .. I agree the tears make her look a bit like Dawn but that wasn't intended...I have done kind of an updated version of this pic for Arcane Codex .. it will be an adventure cover but isn't published by now. I'll post a link when its available.. untile then -- please don't ask me if you can use the picture for anything - sorry but you can't. (as I explained I don't own the copyright anymore)

This is going to sounds very strange but years ago (about 5) I used to be very into role playng. D&D and online. I had in mind this foresty red headed character. I ran across this picture and its what i have been using as referance to this character every since. The characters name is Caedrus and has sort of been my alter ego all these years (what i wish i could be) By pure luck i ran across your site and found this picture again. I just wanted to tell you that in a very strange way you have effected my life.

Doesn't it annoy you when people ask to see a bigger size and you think the size you have chosen to display it at is fine??? LOL anyway, just one of my pet peeves. This is really beautiful. The colours you have chosen for the hair and for the green compliment each other perfectly!

I particularly like the eyes in this picture - they're very piercing. The smooth blend of the natural colors from the tree into the "clothes" of the dryad have a good transition as well.

Lovely style to this. The color choices are bold, which I like but I also wonder what some color and light manipulation might bring out in this. I am looking at this from a Photoshop viewpoint, which may not apply, but might no matter what you did this in.
