Who, this is cool. It actually looks like the glass is broken. I have yet to try my hand at this stuff. I should.

Excellent creation.
I agree, it's not my favourite either, although it is an excellent performance by Paul McGann and India Fisher.
I think out of the Divergent arcs the two stories that stand out for me are "A Natural History of Fear" (again for the performances and the story/end twist) and "Caerdroia" for Paul McGann's performances.

Gorgeous. I've only heard one Big Finish story with Eight and Charley and it made me want to get more.

Eight is one of my favorites. I loved his movie and I want him in the 50 so bad. I met his companion, Daphne Ashbrook a while ago and she was far too lip-locked...

I'm still struggling to find the words. This is just as perfect in a symbolic, experimental, abstract way as the actual story is with it's universe and plot, which, in my opinion, makes this even more perfect. This story would be nearly impossible to produce for TV, but if it were, I imagine it would have visuals very much like this.

Scherzo! Oh lordy that audio play was horrifying! It really delved into the psychological abuse the characters go through and just... yikes. Every new plot twist had me sitting there going, "WHAT!?!?!?" Oh man. It's one of the best audio plays with McGann and Charley, that's for sure! For anyone who hasn't heard it, definitely give Scherzo a listen and this image will make a lot more sense.

I'm glad that you finished this even though I wasn't able to donate anything.
I LOVE 8 and Charley, and believe me, if I had any money it would've gone towards
1. This
2. Used books
and
3. DOCTOR WHO MERCHANDISE

Oh, you brilliant person you!
I always wanted to have an illustration of that moment of Scherzo! This is awesome!
I love how you always get the characters' faces so right, such delicacy and honesty. You must have a fantastic eye.
I totally agree with your comments about "Scherzo" too. It's not one of my favorite stories, but it is incredibly memorable. It's very much a two-hander character piece, but tells the most hauntingly original story. And it's the one Doctor Who story I've encountered that really did make me jump and swear, it startled me so much at that one point. Even worse than "Blink."
But, you're right, it's a very honest story, an exploration of the Doctor and Charley's relationship, and an interesting look at how humans and Time Lords differ in how they deal with extreme situations.
All that makes it sound like a horrific story. But while it does have some things in it that could be horrific if they were dwelled on the wrong way, "Scherzo" is actually written very much in a Doctor Who way, which can play with the ideas of horror, yet do it in a way that is gentle and contains a wry humor and heart.
I'm very very glad you created this artwork for it. And, the picture itselt (love the shattered glass framing you chose for it, that is so perfect in a variety of ways, from story context, to artistic atmosphere in the painting itself. It really shows how "shattered" that story gets. Great idea!)
I love the texturing, and color, and their held hands, and the Doctor's hair, and the fact that he's looking her right in the eye.
Yeah, that "kiss" isn't what it looks like at all. But it was an intensely intimate moment for other reasons, and you pulled that out beautifully.

I really, really need to catch up on Dr. Who. I'm late coming to the fandom and have only seen the 9th Doctor so far.
But even without knowing WTF is going on, this is a beautiful and poignant piece.
