Description
A group size/ height comparison chart I drew for LIVEWIRES, the miniseries I created, wrote, laid out, etc. for Marvel during 2004-5.Not quite sure this is tight enough to be a regular gallery piece (as opposed to being dumped in the "scraps" section., like the rest of the LIVEWIRES roughs), but WTF...
Note the stylish "Dexy's Midnight Runner" look that Stem Cell is sporting... "Come On Eileen," indeed. Not to mention the oddity of Gothic Lolita wearing a T-shirt and PVC pants... Weird.

Oh, I've proposed just such a sequel on multiple occasions, but Marvel isn't interested. (Can't say that I blame 'em, as the original miniseries sold quite badly.)

Has anyone ever told you that you have a unique way with pencils? It's very interesting. When you sketch things like this, what kind of pencils do you use?

The rough sketch, and the finished version, are both done with very soft Staedtler-Mars Lumograph 3B leads (in a 2mm leadholder); the intermediate stage, when I transfer the rough sketch to the final paper I'll be using (linen-finish cardstock, by the way), is accomplished with much harder leads, such as HB or F. Wheeeeee!

I'd say this is a good gallery piece, not scraps. I rarely put stuff in scraps, 'cuz no one visits there.
