Run.Another NPC concept for that Avatar game I'm running.
Xin Yi hails from the Foggy Swamp tribe. By far the most unhinged of Chin the Conqueror's commanders, Xin Yi revels in chaos and destruction. She travels ahead of Chin’s army, using an aberrant form of waterbending to weaken the civilian population. The technique, known as poison-bending, harms its practitioners, causing addiction and physical decay. She knows she is doomed and intends to take as many people with her as she can.
And yes, she's only 31, despite her haggard appearance. M̶e̶t̶h̶.̶ ̶N̶o̶t̶ ̶e̶v̶e̶n̶ ̶o̶n̶c̶e̶.̶

I'm not sure I can explain how it works beyond the fact that constant exposure to toxins is really, really bad for the body. Think of it like the damage meth does to people's faces

I like her varicose veins, it's a nice detail. As my anatomy prof would say "YOUR VEINS ARE LEAAAAAAAAKING" You think she'd be able to do something about it, being a waterbender and all。
