Papillon noir, Paris mystère,C'est mon histoire, plutôt étrange...
Marinette is secretly Ladybug. Adrien is secretly Chat Noir. Marinette adores Adrien, but he's far too busy pining after Ladybug...
So yeah, here they are, side by side, oblivious to the fact that they're in a two-person love triangle. Joke's on them.
I started watching the French version of Miraculous Ladybug online (couldn't wait until it aired in December on Nickelodeon). Initial thoughts: I'm really impressed with the quality of the animation. It's vibrant, colorful, and unusually expressive for 3-D. The bad guys have REALLY creative designs so far, and damn, Hawk Moth's voice is nuts (although his name in French is just...Papillon. AKA, Butterfly. What). Anyway, I'm really curious to see where they go with the series. It seems like there's a lot of room for world-building and interpersonal drama alongside the fight scenes. Kinda reminds me of when my cousins and I used to sit around in my grandma's kitchen and watch Code Lyoko on Wednesdays. Takes me right back to early high school and all its accompanying joys and disappointments. Sigh...the cartoon nostalgia...

I just loved when they were stuck in that bubble and Adrien went "Oh, jackpot! 
The characters are well-made from what I can tell so far. (Only watched 2 episodes up to now. The personality changes when they change tho... 
It does suck to not find any English dubbed episodes though.
I think what I watched was Korean dubbed with English subs.

English dubs will be out in December, so you don't have TOO long to wait
As for their personalities...I think wearing disguises and having powers gives them a confidence boost which lets them behave in ways they normally wouldn't. I don't think their minds are being influenced by their mystical artifacts (I could be wrong though). I've only seen 2 episodes so far as well (and some webisodes). I'm trying to make them last as long as possible because I need a distraction in my life, lol

Yeah, masks/disguises could have this influence on some people.
I am surprised that I have not seen this been taking apart by DC nor Marvel. 
I only noticed for Plagg to have a bit more than only a hinted personality with how he (?) tried to influence Adrien with the party etc.
Maybe it does something but maybe not. It just crossed my mind. (You are probably right though. It feels a bit too serious...at the same time they are fighting a mind-controlling freak...

Yes, there are webisodes, but they're only available in French.
I agree Plagg does seem to try and influence Adrien's decisions...seems more like peer pressure than magic though, haha
