To be fair, the only thing I remotely took inspiration from was the concept art on the face. They have an entire cultural system and biology that I created in a species database. This is a fairly simplified rendition of Manda. Another thing is that the typical Dervan has more of a blue tone to their skin, but the whole skin tone ranges up through light purples.
