The way her bust sits is a little odd (and there's no real protection over her chest), and the sword's sitting backwards and too long for a realistic reverse grip style, and the legs like I said on the other thing, but most of her torso's covered, shoulders, arm guard, good gloves, and decent boots, so that's pretty good! ^v^
Her ears are super cute, and I wanna give her a cookie and a hug, because she's so adorable! ^v^ She has really awesome hips, and her legs are pretty, if a bit long.
Seriously though, do you know how fast you can bleed out if your thighs get slashed deep enough? Especially when they're as (presumably) thickly muscled as hers? Even a kilt or skirt-like set of plates down to the mid thigh makes a ton of difference. Makes my job a ton easier when people actually wear useful armour. >v<
Overall, though, super pretty and cute! I'm gonna hug her! ^v^

Yeah, but the grip is behind her, and the end of the blade looks like it comes in front of her leg, which is a bit awkward to draw out in a hurry. '^v^ It was positioned behind her hip more I'd believe a reverse-grip style, but it's not far enough back here...
With the armour, yeah, light armour is light, true. The armour on her abdomen, shoulders, and arms is fine. It's just that she's only got cloth on her chest, no protection or bust support from how it looks (giggles). Light leg guards are also a thing.
If she had light flaps of leather or plates coming down just the sides of her thighs, attached to the black... shorts? Athletic underwear?
Whatever. Anyway, a belt above that, with pieces coming off the sides, coming even less than halfway over the front of her thighs will stop easy stabs or slashes. It's pretty hard to hit the inside of the thigh of anyone remotely competent. Small, moving, easily defended target. Anyway, if you want me to quickly draw up what I mean, tell me. I'm happy for an excuse to draw nice legs ~v^

Oh, come on. I'm not that bad, I just get a little bit annoyed when I'm dealing with people who feel too sexy to wear armour, and then they end up whining to the medic (me) about how the got stabbed in the side or leg or chest in their exposed skin '^v^ (Totally not hating everything right now) Fortunately, my crew doesn't have this problem.
Anyway, this one is still WAY better than most. At least her midriff is covered in something useful. Way better than most.

Like, sure, if you have enough skill it sorta works, but if you're dealing with and equally skilled or unfairly matched opponent, it's nice to have a backup plan. I mean, Victi doesn't like using armour, she prefers to dodge, warp space, and melt the target before it can attack, but she also has a ton of defensive spells that do almost the same thing as armour, so that helps when surprise snipers try to ruin your day.
I mean, really, Naru isn't too badly equipped compared to other people, but it's little changes that make a big difference. It wouldn't even take away much of her legs. Which is why I made the suggestions I did. I don't want them damaged! ,~v~, Such nice legs...
