Thanks for the and the nice comment. ItΒ΄s an Artmatic Voyager render, but heavily post processed in Photoshop.

Can Artmatic Voyager be used on a normal pc in the normal way? I didn't quite understand the wording they use on the site, and it looks as though it's mainly meant for Mac?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

AbsintheGraphics In reply to AnnaKirsten [2007-06-06 18:29:03 +0000 UTC]

Unfortunately Artmatic and Artmatic Voyager are only running on the Mac. The developers are specialized in programming for the Mac, and they do not plan to support the Windows plattform. The most similar app is Mojoworld, which is running on the PC as well. Although Mojoworld is- at least in my opinion - much more complicated to use and lacks the nice preview abilities of Voyager.

Thanks for the confirmation - I did look at Mojo, but no way could I use that program! Me and 3D? Naaaah!!

Artmatic Voyager is an app for creating landscape. A little bit similar to Mojoworld or Terragen but with a different approach. It works together with another app called Artmatic Pro, which can be used to create fractal images and a lot more (Artmatic is hard to decribe). Voyager can use some of the Artmatic output for generating landscapes, skies, clouds, moons etc....

Both apps are from U&I Software !

Oh … I did not use Terragen here. ItΒ΄s done with an app called "Artmatic Voyager" from UI Software. (And of course some Mattepainting on top.)

Ya, so... AWESOME WORK! haha!
