The constant "properness" of the evening had Cavan crave some laid back company,

it was a lot to take in and perhaps not everyone's scene to feel homely in.

He found someone who shared the opinion. Damon's noble Borzoi was getting a little

anxious about the many strangers in his home and the occasional people trying to pet him.

As he was shying away from most, Cavan took the time to let him approach first.

The ginger had such a calmness to his presence and friendliness to his face,

that eventually Boris got curious and found the subtle attention rather pleasant,

also the following gentle stroking. The human spoke to him, and he could appreciate

a talkative human, they were the most attentive of them all.

Not too long after, Nora was walking out of the ballroom with Grace and Gabe.

Earlier the dancing didnt work out so smoothly for the Irish partner and

Nora wanted him to know that it would change nothing about her wish to get to know him.

A waltz can be learned, but having a sweet heart, not. She felt like his smile

had a genuine softness to it that made him so trustworthy - but she also didn't want to

be the idiot to fling herself at someone she barely knew. Besides. Can't make it too easy either.

She casually sat down next to Cavan, not feeling the slightest awkwardness considering the setting,

maybe it was just different because she had walked these stairs pretty much in a night gown

before to have a shortcut to one of the rooms.

Grace decided to join, as a mental support to her bestie and because it seemed like Gabe

would rather welcome some chilling too. She had heard that the Scotsman had joined

the White December before, which marked him instantly as a badass.

That fact got only underlined when they shared about their favorite disciplines -

the man liked mounted combat and had his fair share of experience with weapons.

None had only one discipline in their focus and so it was interesting to share

their views on their respective preferences.
