One year ago a friend of mine burned me all Naruto episodes. I swallowed them, got myself Shippuuden and was lost.No. I was lost after about first ten :>
Anyway. As a thank-you I drew my friend this picture. Much fun, much work. Combined about five different brands of coloured pencils to have blues I exactly wanted to have.
Yes, I'm a freak when it comes to dates and dating events/files/anything :3
Oh yes, about the burned quality... Sorry.
And of course I didn't draw this all myself. I took a reference from some Japanese postcard. And back then, I had no idea what kanji goes for Akatsuki, no idea that it's simply one kanji. So there, some amateurish sentence just to have some kanji ;>

Yes, many people don't pay attention or simply doesn't know how should be the correct form of some detail, but to have them perfect - it's a perfectionist's curse ^__^

I have a slight question for you.
Would it be okay if I used this in a project on Japan that I am doing? This some what fits the Japanese painting style and it looks really good!

I drew this after a real Japanese painting, that's why it may look to you like that ; ) If it's not something commercial you are absolutely free to use it.

Simply because I think little of myself, and this picture especially - it's totally not mine, I just re-drawn the original. I have no heart of gaining attention/comments/faves with half-mine piece.
And I know I'm hard to deal with, I wouldn't be suprised if you choose not to answer ; ) Though of course I am waiting and glad you still want to share your thoughts with me : )

It looks very beautiful and tender and spacious, and definitely worth the 5 different kinds of blue. Regarding dates, I have always wished to ask you about the way you use to name most of the pictures, those numbers "8..."? Is this a kind of secret code or..?
Then, I like to write "Aka-Tsuki" myself, for the word-play and the meaning "red moon" belongs to... thus reminds me of Itachi. And what is Akatsuki but in the first line an organisation Itachi is a part of?

Yes, you could say Akatsuki are all about Itachi and Uchihas, and I also always liked this wordplay with red ^^
Thank you. All credits for composition goes to Hiroshige : ) But working with traditional medias can be indeed hard.
As for the way I name my pictures, I simply use dates. For example, 080517 would be for today. My files are much more tidy that way and easier to find, and always keep order. I admit without beating, I took this from Lily : )
