Here's my first ever Queen Amidala drawing. 2005.I always regretted that so much splatter went down. I always try and use "special" effects very sparingly...but when it's 3 am and you aren't thinking straight...sometimes things can go a little 'wild style'.
tech pens and brushes, a little wash, some water color pencil, water color dyes, I think some red sharpie, and some acrylics...I just grab whatever will go down and get the look I am going for..

She is beautiful! Personally, I don't think you used too much splash, it adds a very nice touch (I also like that the splash is in orange some places as well).

i loved this from your old gallery, still do so very much. Amidala is such a beautiful character and i really like that you drawn her differently to how she is...like she still looks like her, but it's not Natalie Portman, and it's not one of her costumes. it's awesome
