Brooklyn Bridge, New YorkI wanted to upload a black and white piece, so here it is. Not much to say about it, really... I appreciate any and all thoughts and opinions about this piece! It would be interesting to read what you think.

I used the lensbaby lens for this piece, I think, so the blur was achieved because of that.

Wow, I love this! I like the multiple ways that it plays with the idea, and the converging sets of parallel lines, and the rule-of-thirds composition. It makes me feel a bit dizzy, but ... yeah, the perspective is just wonderful.

I love how abstract this is, and the B&W is really nice. Great focus too, and I love the vertical lines from the bridge structure and how they're blurred at the bottom of the photograph.

That's true. But still, having complete freedom for several months is exciting nonetheless. And I'm sure you will do well!
I once finished a Spanish exam, thinking I'd done all right, only to practically fail it. And yet I did fine in a stats exam that I was so sure I'd done terribly in. So I was always very suspicious if I felt I did OK in an exam; in my experience, I've always got a better grade for exams that, to my mind, went really badly,

Freedom for several months will be good.. it'll be hard to come back after that, I think, mentally and emotionally.

Whoa, this is a really neat shot! The way it's upside down is a really neat perspective, and I really like where the focus is.
The piece is balanced out very nicely as well, and the lighting is great.

Looks like a very shiny hallway w/ metallic spider webbing & a clear glass/tile or still water bottom. It feels a touch cold & deceptively inviting.

woah, it is trippy, but also very cool.
With the leading lines you would expect the selective focus to be higher, but I really like that you took a chance with it and put it where you absolutely do not expect it.
