Harpers Ferry, West VirginiaI took this piece using an infrared converted Canon 40D (590nm) and a lensbaby composer pro with the sweet 35 optic.
I wanted to keep this piece as a landscape, or, if not that, I wanted to crop it so that the house was to the far right instead of the far left. Then, there were other possibilities like rotating the piece 180 degrees. As a result of that, it's very likely that I will post another piece similar to this.

This is very creative. The landscape is nice itself, but I like how you made the picture look like a POV shot from a bird speeding towards the house, which you made look like the obvious destination. Great work.

A lovely llama lured me into your gallery and I'm swept away by your wonderful photography.

I have made a shot where the camera was whizzing away, or rather (to be more specific), the camera remained still while I quickly handled a zoom lens:
The blur is inbuilt into the lens for the lensbaby, so all you have to do is swivel a part of the lens around to get a certain kind of zoom. I prefer the lensbaby to manually zooming the lens myself.

I rely on my eye for it, that's for sure! I think my gallery has changed, especially since I bought my lensbaby and changed my camera into an infrared one. I rarely want to go back to do 'normal' photographs now.

Lensbaby lenses are pretty awesome! I would definitely encourage photographers to get one if they are at all interested in it.
I have the Lensbaby Composer Pro. I read the reviews of all of the different models, but the Composer Pro is quite versatile, and it fits my needs. You can change out optics, and do shaped bokeh (heart, stars and the like).
