I also love swimming and the contact with the water and being in there, although I prefer the natural water pools, for example rivers, lakes, oceans, seas... I miss Mother Nature...

on a pool, it's safe and secure. on saltwater, floating is much easier and the water is more abundant so you have to be careful not to drown or drift off too far. on a clean calm flowing river in a lush tropical spot? mmm.....

I can't quite put my finger on what it is that I like the most about this piece. I am rather jealous of your ability to use watercolors. That is definitely a medium I'm very weak at handling... But the patterns you've created with the bottom of the pool and the reflections in the surface of the water is really pleasing to the eyes. The white, organic lines really break up the uniform rectangles.

It's so incredible on how you carefully did the details for the swimming pool bottom and the water itself. The shading is amazing--with watercolors it's very difficult for me to even make those splotches and backruns...Amazing work, I really think it's beautiful!

I just love the slightly abstract take on this. It's all so tangible. Brings about the aroma of chlorine... which for some reason I enjoy tremendously. PURPLE on the tiles, too! I just noticed. Rock on.

I actually painted it 3 times and treated the hair in 3 different ways. This is the best outcome XD!

I love the perspective on her, and the abstract aspect of the piece overall. The way you edited her skin tones, for the different shades above and below water, was also very creative,without making it look unclear.
