So here it is, my first vexel. The woman in the picture is Charlize Theron (for me it was hard to recognize her at first, but as I did some research, I found out it really is her).You can find the reference image here: [link]
PS.: This vexel took ca. 30h and consits of over 500 layers.

+ Its very well done, the different 'layers' of grey are not noticable until you full view the picture. I'm amazed with the amount of patience you will have had while drawing that - but it was worth it; very nicely done!
- Her face has so many layers, and if you look at the hair its quite..flat, above her ear. You might have meant it that way tho!

Did you use photoshop?

No, I used Illustrator, but I think it would work the same way in Photoshop. There are some great tutorials out there, that would help you, if you want to try it
