I’m proud to introduce you to Florynsalis’ lady in waiting and loyal friend, Tanamira! She turned out to be much more difficult to think of a design for, but I like how she turned out. I tried to give her a very “fighter” like look to her and used the color scheme of the Dragonstone dorm emblem. At first I thought about giving her tiger ears, but then that would make her head feel a bit too crowded, so I just gave her normal looking ears.

Infuriated upon seeing the innocent being slaughtered, she picked up an ax and charged at the bandits leader. However, he was much stronger and he knocked her to the ground. Before he could kill her, Tanamira was rescued by Sir Gunnar Ritter, a nobleman and head of a family of knights sworn to protect Enótita.

After rescuing her, Tanamira was taken in by Gunnar as his adoptive daughter. Seeing how he selflessly risked his life to help people who couldn’t help themselves, it sparked something within the young hybrid. She wanted to become as strong as him so nobody would have to lose families like she did. She demanded that Sir Gunnar train her, to which he agreed since he saw a bit of himself in her.

During her first year as Gunnar’s adoptive daughter, Tanamira met Florynsalis while the young princess was strolling through the forest near the castle, but got lost. After she helped the teary eyed princess find the way back to the palace, the two quickly struck up a friendship. That night, Tanamira was invited by Florynsalis to dinner with her family where she met the royal family up close.

Over the next ten years, Tanamira continued to train hard under Gunnar, who became like a second father to her, and developed a strong sense of justice and honor. Her friendship with Florynsalis also continued to grow, to the point where the two were hardly ever seen apart. Tanamira was even promoted to Florynsalis’ lady in waiting by the king and queen due to her deep friendship with the princess.

Speaking of whom, she also became rather close with the royal family as well. Tanamira was warmly welcomed by Queen Viktoriya and King Fylakas like she was one of their own children and she became like a second older sister figure to Florynsalis’ two younger siblings, Valdennio and Stellara.

All seemed to be going well, until the morning of her friend’s fifthteenth birthday when the king and queen were murdered. Because of this, Florynsalis and her younger siblings were to be sent to Diamond Crown Academy for safety. Not wanting her friend to be all alone and wishing to protect her and her siblings, Tanamira demanded that she go with them as well, which her adoptive father agreed to and signed her up as a student.

As they departed for the academy, Tanamira vowed that she would become stronger and continue to be there for her friends and protect the helpless, no matter what.

Personality
She is a very selfless and fast talking girl with a strong sense of honor and justice. Whenever she sees injustice of any kind, she will not hesitate to fight against it. Tanamira is incredibly bold and headstrong. She never backs down from a challenge. She is incredibly loyal to her friend Florynsalis and will not only protect her from any threat, but also let her friend confide in her, give her a shoulder to cry on and be there for her. No matter how big the dragon or how strong the dark knight, Tanamira will stand her ground to protect those who can not protect themselves.

She is also quick to think on her feet and adjust to her situation if needed. However, her biggest weaknesses are her hotheadedness, impulsiveness and overconfidence. She will often jump headfirst without thinking which can sometimes get her into trouble and she is also rather blunt. Usually, her friend will be the one to calm her down and bring her back down to earth.

Despite her overconfidence, she is still a lively, outgoing and sometimes comical individual who enjoys playing rough and is a tomboy by nature. He is the head of House Ritter, a noble family of knights and warriors who are sworn to defend the royal family and Enótita and are in charge of overseeing and commanding the kingdom's military.

General Corneelia Ritter
The adoptive mother of Tanamira and wife of Gunnar. She is a Satyr Human hybrid with brown curved horns, jet black hair and light hazel eyes.

A former commoner who became a soldier in the Enótita army where she met and fell in love with Gunnar. She is very devoted to protecting the kingdom and royal family and values honor, loyalty and strength. She is the second in command of House Ritter and is a supportive mother to her adoptive daughter and her children.

While she doesn’t have any magical powers, she doesn’t mind this and is determined to not let this get her down.

Squire Firaas Ritter

The oldest adoptive brother of Tanamira by five years and heir to the House of Ritter. He has dark brown hair like his father but has reddish highlights in his hair. He also has dark hazel eyes with garnet red pupils.

He is an upcoming knight and a skilled duelist and strategist who uses long range weapons such as rifles and pistols, but is also skilled with a sword. He and Tanamira have a pretty good relationship and spar together nearly everyday. She also sometimes calls him Spots. He is very loyal and devoted to his family and friends safety. Out of his siblings, he is by far the most level headed and sometimes gets annoyed by his younger siblings' roughhousing antics, but even he will sometimes bend or break the rules if he deems it necessary to think outside the box. He secretly has a crush on Christina, a noblewoman from house Ceartas, which Tanamira and the rest of her siblings love to tease him about.

He inherited most of the cheetah beastmen features such as his speed and sharp eyesight from his paternal grandfather.

Squire Bergmont Ritter

Tanamira’s third oldest adoptive brother by three years. He has dark brown curved horns and jet black hair with bright maroon highlights. His eyes are a deep gray blue.

Bergmont is also a knight in training under his father and is very skilled in hand to hand combat. He is the tallest of his siblings which often leads many to mistake him for being the eldest. Like his mother, he too doesn’t have any magical abilities, but he makes up for it in brute strength.

Tanamira has a fairly close relationship with Bergmont and playfully calls him Hardhead and Boulder while he calls her Spitfire and Snips. He inherited his strong skull and horns from his Satyr hybrid mother and taught Tanamira how to headbutt and ram into things. They also both share a love for close combat and martial arts. The two often roughhouse and wrestle almost daily.

Squire Carolyn Ritter

Tanamira’s second older adoptive and only sister by four years. Carolyn has maroon brown hair and garnet eyes with hazel pupils. She also has a caracal tail and ears like her beastmen father.

Like her brothers, Carolyn is also a knight in training and is incredibly proficient in using a halberd which she considers her main weapon of choice. Bold and headstrong like her younger brother Bergmont, she believes that there is no challenge she can’t take.

Tanamira also has a good relationship with Carolyn. The two girls often spar together or foot race each other. Carolyn also imprinted her strong sense of feminine pride onto Tanamira.

The Eirene family
Tanamira has a good relationship with the royal family to the point where they are like her third family. She is devoted to protecting them from any threat and will lay down her life for them.

Queen Viktoriya and King Fylakas
Viktoriya and Fylakas were very warm and welcoming towards Tanamira and treated her like she was one of their own. Their deaths both greatly devastated Tanamira and she vowed to defend Florynsalis, Valdennio, Stellara and Maria in their honor.

Valdennio and Stellara
Tanamira acts like a cool big sis to Val and Stellara and is very protective of them. She, alongside Florynsalis, both act like ‘mother figures’ to the two of them. After the deaths of the king and queen, the two made a blood oath that they would protect and care for Val and Stellara. She is also teaching them both martial arts and combat magic so they can defend themselves in case she isn’t around.

Friend
Florynsalis
Tanamira and Florynsalis have known each other for a very long time and are incredibly close. They are always by each other's sides and will die to protect the other. It is rumored by most students (and even some of the staff) that they are secretly more than just mere close childhood friends.

Tanamira is very supportive of her friend and encourages her to find the strength to accept her role as future queen since Tanamira is 100% positive that Florynsalis is a great leader despite what the latter thinks about herself.

Fellow Students
While she hasn’t made any acquaintances with the other students, she highly respects her dorm leader Jinlong Esi for her strength and enjoys dueling with her. She also respects Vidya Nazari and Evonie Apfel.

While she hasn’t met any of the students or staff from NRC, she will most certainly develop a competitive rivalry with Leona Kingscholar and take every opportunity to challenge him to a spar or physical competition.

An adolescent griffin that Tanamira tamed during her knight training. He has a light brown plumage and a black beak and gold eyes.

Godric is often very grumpy, sassy and proud, so he doesn’t like strangers approaching him except for Tanamira and her friends. To them, he is pretty docile and will allow them to ride or groom him. He is Tanamira’s main griffin ride in Griffin Disc. During the winter, he will often find a warm and comfortable place to hibernate instead of migrating due to his partnership with Tanamira. [He specializes in Racing, Endurance Training and Horseback Archery]

Tiger of the Sun: Tanamira can transform into a large fire breathing tiger. In her tiger form, she will gain a big increase in her fire breathing, fire magic and physical strength, but she will become extremely fatigued when she turns back into her original form.

Incanmen magic: Due to her Incanmen heritage, Tanamira is able to use all sorts of magic, including those of other races such as merfolk.

Fire Breath: She is able to breathe fire due to her dragonkin heritage which is pretty useful when she’s in a deadlock while dueling.

Fire Magic: A type of magic that she is particularly skilled with. She is able to use fire magic to not only create and control fire and heat, but she can also form projectiles, be highly resistant to extreme hot temperatures and even form solid fire constructs that only she or others with fire resistance can hold.

Melee Combat: She is very well trained in combat, particularly close combat. She is also skilled in martial arts and can defend herself without a weapon.

Martial Arts: Tanamira is an extremely capable hand to hand fighter, since she trained incredibly hard when she was young. She can attack with brute force in the blink of an eye with tiger style kung fu, which is one of her main fighting styles.

Swordsmanship: While she is good at wielding different weapons such as spears and bo staffs, she prefers to use and is most skilled at using a sword or cutlass. Especially duel wielding.

Acrobatics: Tanamira is very proficient in parkour and acrobatics. Making her incredibly light on her feet.

Reinforced Horns: Like all dragonkin, Tanamira has two horns protruding from her head. Her horns are incredibly strong to the point where she would barely feel any pain when they are struck. This can allow her to ram her horns into anything, but doing so too many times will cause her to receive a painful headache or lose her balance.

Sharp Claws and Fangs: She possesses incredibly sharp fangs and claws from her tiger beastmen heritage that are capable of tearing through wood.

Night Vision: Thanks to her tiger beastmen heritage, Tanamira’s eyesight is very highly adapted to seeing in darker environments.

Enhanced Strength: Due to years of rigorous training, Tanamira is incredibly physically strong for her age and can easily lift someone much bigger than her with ease.

Weaknesses
Stubborn Attitude: Her stubbornness can cause her to charge headfirst without thinking, which can mostly lead her into tricky situations and make it difficult for her to work with others.

Overconfidence: Her overconfidence can sometimes get the better of her.

Hot Temper: She is extremely hot headed and can easily lose her cool if her buttons are pushed. This can cause her to act aggressively and let her emotions take over her thinking. One of the very few people who can help calm her down is Florynsalis.

Water: Tanamira is very weak against water which can render both her fire breath and fire magic completely useless.

Loud frequencies: Due to her hearing, incredibly sharp frequencies can give her a splitting headache.

Trivia
During the beginner’s debut, Florynsalis froze up on stage from nervousness and almost had an anxiety attack. Upon seeing this, Tanamira quickly went on stage and started singing her part of a duet that the girls liked to sing together as if it were part of the performance. She managed to calm her friend down and they both greatly impressed the judges and other students with their perfect harmony.

Tanamira’s voice actress would be Ashley Eckstein who is best known for voicing Ahsoka Tano from Star Wars The Clone Wars and Rebels.

Her first name is derived from the Arabic word, Namir, which means tiger, leopard and panther. When split apart, the word tana means fire and star goddess while mira means peace, admirable and female ruler.

Her adoptive family name means “knight” in German.

Her full name is Tanamira Ayad Ritter.

Her middle name is her original family name.

She has a pepper allergy. Whenever she smells it, she would sneeze fire.

She hates wearing anything on her head due to her horns getting in the way. Because of this, her ceremonial crown takes the form of a chain circlet.

Tanamira’s third oldest adoptive brother by three years. He has dark brown curved horns and jet black hair with bright maroon highlights. His eyes are a deep gray blue.

Bergmont is also a knight in training under his father and is very skilled in hand to hand combat. He is the tallest of his siblings which often leads many to mistake him for being the eldest. Like his mother, he too doesn’t have any magical abilities, but he makes up for it in brute strength.

Tanamira has a fairly close relationship with Bergmont and playfully calls him Hardhead and Boulder while he calls her Spitfire and Snips. He inherited his strong skull and horns from his Satyr hybrid mother and taught Tanamira how to headbutt and ram into things. They also both share a love for close combat and martial arts. The two often roughhouse and wrestle almost daily.

Tanamira’s second older adoptive and only sister by four years. Carolyn has maroon brown hair and garnet eyes with hazel pupils. She also has a caracal tail and ears like her beastmen father.

Like her brothers, Carolyn is also a knight in training and is incredibly proficient in using a halberd which she considers her main weapon of choice. Bold and headstrong like her younger brother Bergmont, she believes that there is no challenge she can’t take.

Tanamira also has a good relationship with Carolyn. The two girls often spar together or foot race each other. Carolyn also imprinted her strong sense of feminine pride onto Tanamira.

The Eirene family
Tanamira has a good relationship with the royal family to the point where they are like her third family. She is devoted to protecting them from any threat and will lay down her life for them.

Queen Viktoriya and King Fylakas
Viktoriya and Fylakas were very warm and welcoming towards Tanamira and treated her like she was one of their own. Their deaths both greatly devastated Tanamira and she vowed to defend Florynsalis, Valdennio, Stellara and Maria in their honor.

Valdennio and Stellara
Tanamira acts like a cool big sis to Val and Stellara and is very protective of them. She, alongside Florynsalis, both act like ‘mother figures’ to the two of them. After the deaths of the king and queen, the two made a blood oath that they would protect and care for Val and Stellara. She is also teaching them both martial arts and combat magic so they can defend themselves in case she isn’t around.

Florynsalis
Tanamira and Florynsalis have known each other for a very long time and are incredibly close. They are always by each other's sides and will die to protect the other. It is rumored by most students (and even some of the staff) that they are secretly more than just mere close childhood friends.

Tanamira is very supportive of her friend and encourages her to find the strength to accept her role as future queen since Tanamira is 100% positive that Florynsalis is a great leader despite what the latter thinks about herself.

Fellow Students
While she hasn’t made any acquaintances with the other students, she highly respects her dorm leader Jinlong Esi for her strength and enjoys dueling with her. She also respects Vidya Nazari and Evonie Apfel.

Night Raven College
While she hasn’t met any of the students or staff from NRC, she will most certainly develop a competitive rivalry with Leona Kingscholar and take every opportunity to challenge him to a spar or physical competition.

An adolescent griffin that Tanamira tamed during her knight training. He has a light brown plumage and a black beak and gold eyes.

Godric is often very grumpy, sassy and proud, so he doesn’t like strangers approaching him except for Tanamira and her friends. To them, he is pretty docile and will allow them to ride or groom him. He is Tanamira’s main griffin ride in Griffin Disc. During the winter, he will often find a warm and comfortable place to hibernate instead of migrating due to his partnership with Tanamira. [He specializes in Racing, Endurance Training and Horseback Archery]

Signature Magic
Tiger of the Sun: Tanamira can transform into a large fire breathing tiger. In her tiger form, she will gain a big increase in her fire breathing, fire magic and physical strength, but she will become extremely fatigued when she turns back into her original form.

Powers and Abilities
Incanmen magic: Due to her Incanmen heritage, Tanamira is able to use all sorts of magic, including those of other races such as merfolk.

Fire Breath: She is able to breathe fire due to her dragonkin heritage which is pretty useful when she’s in a deadlock while dueling.

Fire Magic: A type of magic that she is particularly skilled with. She is able to use fire magic to not only create and control fire and heat, but she can also form projectiles, be highly resistant to extreme hot temperatures and even form solid fire constructs that only she or others with fire resistance can hold.

Melee Combat: She is very well trained in combat, particularly close combat. She is also skilled in martial arts and can defend herself without a weapon.

Martial Arts: Tanamira is an extremely capable hand to hand fighter, since she trained incredibly hard when she was young. She can attack with brute force in the blink of an eye with tiger style kung fu, which is one of her main fighting styles.

Swordsmanship: While she is good at wielding different weapons such as spears and bo staffs, she prefers to use and is most skilled at using a sword or cutlass. Especially duel wielding.

Acrobatics: Tanamira is very proficient in parkour and acrobatics. Making her incredibly light on her feet.

Reinforced Horns: Like all dragonkin, Tanamira has two horns protruding from her head. Her horns are incredibly strong to the point where she would barely feel any pain when they are struck. This can allow her to ram her horns into anything, but doing so too many times will cause her to receive a painful headache or lose her balance.

Sharp Claws and Fangs: She possesses incredibly sharp fangs and claws from her tiger beastmen heritage that are capable of tearing through wood.

Night Vision: Thanks to her tiger beastmen heritage, Tanamira’s eyesight is very highly adapted to seeing in darker environments.

Enhanced Strength: Due to years of rigorous training, Tanamira is incredibly physically strong for her age and can easily lift someone much bigger than her with ease.

Weaknesses
Stubborn Attitude: Her stubbornness can cause her to charge headfirst without thinking, which can mostly lead her into tricky situations and make it difficult for her to work with others.

Overconfidence: Her overconfidence can sometimes get the better of her.

Hot Temper: She is extremely hot headed and can easily lose her cool if her buttons are pushed. This can cause her to act aggressively and let her emotions take over her thinking. One of the very few people who can help calm her down is Florynsalis.

Water: Tanamira is very weak against water which can render both her fire breath and fire magic completely useless.

Loud frequencies: Due to her hearing, incredibly sharp frequencies can give her a splitting headache.

Trivia
During the beginner’s debut, Florynsalis froze up on stage from nervousness and almost had an anxiety attack. Upon seeing this, Tanamira quickly went on stage and started singing her part of a duet that the girls liked to sing together as if it were part of the performance. She managed to calm her friend down and they both greatly impressed the judges and other students with their perfect harmony.

Tanamira’s voice actress would be Ashley Eckstein who is best known for voicing Ahsoka Tano from Star Wars The Clone Wars and Rebels.

Her first name is derived from the Arabic word, Namir, which means tiger, leopard and panther. When split apart, the word tana means fire and star goddess while mira means peace, admirable and female ruler.

Her adoptive family name means “knight” in German.

Her full name is Tanamira Ayad Ritter.

Her middle name is her original family name.

She has a pepper allergy. Whenever she smells it, she would sneeze fire.

She hates wearing anything on her head due to her horns getting in the way. Because of this, her ceremonial crown takes the form of a chain circlet.

Her duel wielding style would look like a combination of Ahsoka Tano’s lightsaber style and beast breathing from Kimetsu No Yaiba
