Finally, I finished the next member of Florynsalis’ friend group. Meet Aracia, the shy yet sweet incanmen/tree nymph hybrid.

Ngl, I had a hard time figuring out her design, but I love how she came out, especially her cottage core outfit and leaf like hair.

History
Aracia was born in the kingdom of Enōtita to her Incanmen father Gléasra and Tree Nymph mother Natura. Her mother was from a rare species of plant faerie humans, who were plant and human hybrids, that were very secretive and hardly ever seen outside of their homeland, but her mother was different from other nymphs and was brave enough to travel beyond her home. She moved to Enōtita where she met and fell in love with Gléasra. The current head of the noble house Albero and a member of Enótita’s high council.

Unfortunately, when Aracia was barely one year old, her mother was killed, leaving Aracia to be raised by her father and to be the only tree nymph in the kingdom. Because of this, Aracia felt different from the other people and began to spend more and more time in the gardens of her family estate or the forests surrounding it. One of the very few people she was on friendly terms with was Princess Florynsalis, but they only considered themselves as good acquaintances. Yet, Aracia always wanted to become friends with the princess but was too shy to approach her.

Since she was the only heir of House Albero, Aracia was taught from an early age diplomacy, agriculture, farming and politics by her father who did his very best to raise his only daughter by himself and help nurture her magic. This led to the two having a very close bond. Overtime, she began to perfect her plant magic and became quite formidable, yet still retained her shy nature.

Since her father noticed that Aracia was having a hard time socializing with others, he decided it would be a great idea to have his daughter enrolled in Diamond Crown Academy. During her first year, Aracia kept to herself and mapped out the forests and gardens while also practicing her singing and magic.

During the sorting ceremony in her second year, Aracia spotted a few familiar faces amongst the crowd of first years. To her surprise, it was Florynsalis, Tanamira and Florynsalis’ two younger siblings. Now this was quite a surprise.

Personality
Most days, Aracia is a loner and keeps to herself. She is very quiet and shy around most, but around those she trusts, she is quite upbeat, kind and positive. She is very soft spoken and has a playful side that few get to see, but she can be mature when she has to be, sometimes acting as a voice of reason. When it comes to fighting, she wouldn’t want to fight unless she really has to, but oftentimes she’ll try to negotiate first.

She is also rather adventurous, she would often go out and explore the wilderness for hours on end, but sometimes she can lose track of the time. Since she has a deep magical connection to nature, she values all forms of life and is sensitive to others emotions, making it very easy for her to tell what others are feeling. She is also incredibly tenacious and doesn’t give up easily even when things look hopeless.

He is very nurturing and caring towards Aracia and did his absolute hardest to help raise her after her mother was killed. Although due to the limited info on nymphs, he really struggled to do so, but he was determined to not give up and taught his daughter everything he knows.

Aracia is very close with her father and deeply cares for him.

Natura Albero

A tree nymph from a secretive land. Natura looks a lot like her daughter with the same colored leaf hair and eye color.

Natura is from a race that are closely related to nature fae and take on a form relating to their environments. For Natura, she was born and raised in a forest, making her a tree nymph, granting her the power to transform into a tree and control plant life.

Unlike her fellow nymphs, Natura was the only one brave enough to venture outside of her homeland and traveled to Enótita where she met and fell in love with Gléasra. At first, the possibility of them conceiving was low, but by a miracle, Natura bore their hybrid daughter Aracia.

Unfortunately, when Aracia was barely starting to walk, Natura was killed during a tragic event.

Aracia barely remembers her mother, but has heard stories about her from the servants and her father. Aracia has also seen a couple photos and portraits of her mother.

When they encountered each other in gardening research club, Aracia gathered up her bravery and approached Florynsalis. At first, it was very awkward between them, but when Florynsalis complimented the pretty flowers that she had been growing were wilting, Aracia then used her magic to help them bloom again. Florynsalis then paid Aracia back by baking her some muffins and that’s how they began to form a new friendship.

While Aracia hasn’t spoken to Elu much, if she ever finds out about the greedy businessmen trying to occupy Elu’s homeland, Aracia will not hesitate to offer to help since she could be of some assistance with her status as a noblewoman.

Aracia will most likely quickly bond with Jack and Jade over their shared love of plants. She would help Jack take care of his cacti and go on hikes and help build terrariums with Jade.

Blooming Restoration: With her strong connection to nature, Aracia is capable of using her signature magic to regrow an entire landscape. Whether it was destroyed by a fire, hurricane or anything else, Aracia can fully restore the plant life to its former glory.

However, doing this will cause her to transform into a small seed that’s the size of a basketball, which she stays as for a week or two in order to gather her strength back up. After she is fully recovered, the seed will bloom into a large flower which she will emerge from before the flower disintegrates into fresh soil. Aracia would feel like she had had a very long and refreshing nap.

Powers and Abilities
Flight: With her insect-like wings, Aracia is capable of flying at quick speeds and has great maneuverability and can hover off the ground for long periods of time. However, the structure of her wings aren’t very strong and she can easily be knocked out of the air with a strong force.

Plant Growth: Aracia can promote the growth rate of any plant, making them grow instantly.

Photosynthesis: Thanks to her plant-like philosophy, whenever she is in the presence of strong sunlight, she will have a lot more energy and stamina.

Tree Form: Aracia can turn herself into a tree that is about the same height as her. She can thus blend in with her surroundings and hide.

Regeneration: She can regrow any of her severed body parts or reattach them. The rate at how fast she can regenerate depends on which of her limbs are severed. For her finger, it can regrow in about five minutes, but for a whole arm or wing, it would take about a week for them to grow back.
