Description Desolate landscape surrounding the village of Malahm in the Pennines... I was pretty much lost when I took this shot, with night fast approaching and the weather closing in - and without any food, water or even a jacket, I could have easily come a cropper.. There’s probably a lesson to be learned in there somewhere.

That's very true I'm glad at leat one shot came out ok.. I was beginning to shake the camera with my shivering fingers as the biting wind and snow came in.. all good fun!

I have a few near-death pics myself. Once on an icy jetty;got one shot before I slipped and fell almost to my death, and some nice shots of a mountain top where my husband and I went down the wrong way and were within inches from our death...without even knowing it. Good guardian angels = good photos

Thank you!.. Yeah, it was pretty chilly and getting dark, I was wandering around on the top of an ancient waterfall - See here [link] - Probably not the cleverest thing i've ever done.

Heh heh, that's true Though I nearly got frostbite from holding it in my hand while running around trying to find where i parked the car! Ah.. the fun.
