Wow, everyone prefers to draw her human form. I think you're the first to do this..

Heh-heh, humorously, in many βmask-relatedβ cases such as this, said mask is usually used to conceal, beyond the initial βidentity-cloakingβ of the wearer, something far LESS pleasing to gaze upon than the facial covering itself; usually in the form of disfigurement, or something else to that same effect.
HOWEVER, as anyone who knows Wuya will be able to confirm as well, What lies beyond this menacing Heylen guise most definitely does NOT fall under the confines of the previously mentioned case AT ALL. Haha
With that said, I have to say, this is one of my personal favorites of your entries into your epic mask series of artworks, not just for my personal liking of the character herself, but from the wonderful design and composition that you have accomplished here in your interpretation of this most-recognizable Xiaolin Showdown masquerade. The coloring you have demonstrated in this piece is certainly a most perfect representation of this notable character, and lets any fan of this great show know right away EXATLY who it is leering back at them.
The other aspect that really caught my eye in this work are the soft glow effects you incorporated so flawlessly into both the mask itself, and into her hazy purple spirit form as well. I've always loved a great deal the beauty you demonstrate with your masterful play on different light effects, and the glowing form of Wuya you have brought to life here most definitely gives me another fantastic opportunity to see those effect creations of yours that I admire so dearly in such an epically awesome way! ^^
But now, of course, I suppose I will now have to commence with wrapping up this particular comment, because as we all know, where there is Wuya, Jack Spicer is most certainly VERY close by; I'm afraid a Jack-bot attack might vaporize me if I hang around here too long! Haha
The epic Fern mask collection is ever-growing, and I wonder which mack-related attraction will be added to the collection NEXT??? But until that time, I thank you for taking the time to share another beautiful painting masterpiece with us, my friend!

Now THIS makes me grin, as I hear that evil laughter echoing through this creation. The colors, the form, the story behind it all...tis greatness all over, my friend, most definitely.
Keep up the swell work!

Would rather see Wuya's other form with that mask, but this is still high quality work, man.
