thank you! well, i always enjoyed doodling around as a hobby but at the start of high school it occurred to me that i was maybe good enough to really pursue it as a career. and i had no real skills in other areas. i like writing quite a bit actually, but i have this unshakeable habit of failing english classes so that got crossed off the list quite soon.
are you also a writing major like our little mind controller? (you're absolutely right about that, by the way - be glad you've never been subjected to the brain-numbing effects of her glare. the word 'intense' does not cover it.)

Neat - that's a good way of getting into a field. And I think you're a fantastic artist; you're most definitely good enough to pursue art as a career. I can understand about writing; I like it quite a bit too, but my ideas - such as they are - are few and far between, and further I am just not linguistically talented at all when it comes to foreign languages.
I've put up two short POTO drabbles on FFN, and I am putzing around a few other potential short story ideas, but I think that's pretty much the extent of my writing abilities. 
Hehe - I think you can tell by now I'm not a writing major.
