Shameless advertising here, but is my best friend who's in art school. She's really quite bad at updating her page, but she just put up some new stuff. Also, she's amazing, so.

Hehe- neat. That's your friend at FIT, I presume? I've added her to my watch list, and I'll check her page out after lunch.

Hi! Yep, I finally decided to join dA - thank Wandering-Recluse for motivating me.
By the way, I don't mean to rush you -but did you get my last email?

Mhm. I think I actually had to read physical books! Horror, horror, horror!

Haha, well, I do that all the time anyway.

Me too. And when it comes to textbooks I actually prefer studying using a physical book (rather than an e-book) for some reason. Maybe because it's easier to flip through the pages or something, I dunno.

I hate reading off a screen for long periods of time. It just makes my eyes go all weird, I guess.

Me too. Unfort., I have to do it these days because that's the only way you can efficiently search through and use the scientific literature.

Hehe. Rosie? It can't be... Avar must be the root of the problem.
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
KyrieofAccender In reply to ACEAlbert [2010-01-06 02:25:41 +0000 UTC]
Nooo, no, not Rosie. Long story about that one... when they meet, Avar's already got a girlfriend. She's... interesting. And hilarious, but so annoying sometimes.

ACEAlbert In reply to KyrieofAccender [2010-01-06 06:22:04 +0000 UTC]
Ohh. I see. I'm sorry for the mix-up.
Soo... hm, what did Dean Travers in Three's Company use to say? Ah yes... so Avar has two girls, eh? *waggles eyebrows* Lol sorry - Dean Travers was just hilarious. He was the dean of the cooking school Jack Tripper attended, and he had a rather dirty mind and was rather... flexible when it came to ethics.
Yes, I'm a sucker for old TV shows, as you can see.

Haha, nice. And not really. On the "two girls" thing.

No, Sandy, you are not getting MORE food. I am going to bed!

Yeah, I know, no worries. I was just cracking one of my trademark late-night lame jokes.
Haha, that cat of yours has quite the appetite, I see.

KyrieofAccender In reply to ACEAlbert [2010-01-06 16:39:59 +0000 UTC]
Haha, oh you. I'm afraid I was a bit too tired and "augh cat, go AWAY" to appreciate it properly.
He certainly does. He is the sweetest and most adorable cat in the world, but he has lately figured out that he can badger me into feeding him three times every night. No wonder he's fat...

ACEAlbert In reply to KyrieofAccender [2010-01-06 17:18:13 +0000 UTC]
Haha no worries, no one ever gets my lame late-night jokes. Heck, *I* don't even get them most of the time.
Hehe- a Garfield clone in the making. o.O
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
KyrieofAccender In reply to ACEAlbert [2010-01-06 19:02:08 +0000 UTC]
I know, right? Except he's much too polite to be Garfield. Instead of meowing loudly to get my attention, he sits around and purrs loudly and looks hopeful.
Cuteness conquers all...

ACEAlbert In reply to KyrieofAccender [2010-01-06 20:15:32 +0000 UTC]

Who's Nermal?
And yeah, he is cute.

ACEAlbert In reply to KyrieofAccender [2010-01-07 00:40:50 +0000 UTC]
Hehe. As you can tell I'm a Garfield addict. Nermal is a really cute, adorable kitten that everyone loves... everyone, that is, except Garfield, who views Nermal as a threat.

KyrieofAccender In reply to ACEAlbert [2010-01-07 01:37:20 +0000 UTC]
Ah, I seem to be recalling him now.
And yes, that sounds exactly like Sandy.

ACEAlbert In reply to KyrieofAccender [2010-01-07 04:04:13 +0000 UTC]
Mm, good. Who could ever forget darling Nermal?
You're so lucky to have a cat just like Nermal. That's like what the ideal cat would be like.
Is it just my bad memory or do you actually also have other cats besides Sandy?

KyrieofAccender In reply to ACEAlbert [2010-01-07 04:56:15 +0000 UTC]
*snuggles Sandy-Nermal*
I do indeed have one other cat. His name is Chip. He's black, and looks like Bastet. We think he's part Siamese, because he's so elegant, and because he is bloody LOUD.

ACEAlbert In reply to KyrieofAccender [2010-01-07 20:08:35 +0000 UTC]
Hehe. Sandy-Nermal. How adorable.
Glad to know I was not deluded in imagining you had another cat. A Bastet lookalike, eh? Neat. Haha. I don't think I've ever come across a *loud* cat yet, actually... does he like to yodel alot or something?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
KyrieofAccender In reply to ACEAlbert [2010-01-07 22:32:43 +0000 UTC]
No, he doesn't yodel, exactly, but whenever he wants your attention, he meows at the top of his little cat lungs. He's quite good at it.
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
ACEAlbert In reply to KyrieofAccender [2010-01-08 15:23:06 +0000 UTC]
Oo, I see. Funny thing - I have yet to meet a loud cat. I'm serious. I've met tons of cats over the years... active cats, lazy cats, fat cats, skinny cats, the works... but not a loud cat.
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
KyrieofAccender In reply to ACEAlbert [2010-01-08 18:22:27 +0000 UTC]
Hmmm. That's odd. Have you ever met a Siamese? They are famously (or perhaps infamously) loud.
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
ACEAlbert In reply to KyrieofAccender [2010-01-08 20:37:09 +0000 UTC]
Yeah - that's the thing. I've never met a Siamese, I don't think.
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
KyrieofAccender In reply to ACEAlbert [2010-01-08 22:11:33 +0000 UTC]
Well, there you go. I've never heard of other kinds of cats being particularly vocal, but Siameses are, apparently. Which is why we think Chip is part Siamese.
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
ACEAlbert In reply to KyrieofAccender [2010-01-08 22:13:08 +0000 UTC]
