I went down south this past weekend and stayed in a seedy hotel. The hotel bars in those are incredible. Besides being stocked with cougars, the clientele is so visibly downtrodded I was in awe. Or, maybe it's just the setting that brings out the downtroddenness (?) we all have, I dunno. So I dropped a few percoset and had some drinks and wrote at the little table in my room. It all turned out to be shit, but I'm working on piecing a poem together out of it.
