LOL... What a "useless studies"! That's awesome! Never thought that will come from your mouth.
So yeah, illustrator is cool too. You see, I was thinking about being an illustrator, but now I'm majoring in Graphic Design. Sigh--- thought it's not totally different from what I want. Also, see all my drawings? They are not even done by any computer applications. That's because I don't know how to use computer well. How am I going to survive in College?
And actually, I was thinking: why don't I just be a manga artist and draw with pencil? Easy and simple, BUT.. it's not that easy. Yeah, like I know where I could ask to publish anything.
Sigh--- Life..

even though school doesnt really teach us anything,we can still do it ourselves.
u see,i ve been learning photoshop myself since i was in middle school in china, nobody teaches that in china.
but im just love to use it.~~
if u wanna learn photoshop, i can recommand some useful sites~~ and some really good artists who r the masters of photoshop`~~

i love to use pens and pencils too~my favorite is watercolor~~~ there s nothing wrong with 'em.

It's very true indeed. I have a photoshop in Chinese. Would you mind to sent me the websites? My sister got me one, but for some reason I'm just too lazy to go there. I'll try when you send me, since I'll have photo class(not sure if that's photoshop) in Pennstate anyway.

this forum has a lot of info and materials abt how to draw CG, not only PS~ go register!~ then u can download some art books and pics for free, but for some of them, u have to earn "credits" to buy'em.they will tell u how to.
