Unfortunately I don't have too much time to practise both styles. As you've noticed I've abandoned watercolours and started to paint more digital pieces, but I hope that some day I'll be back with watercolours

wow your stuff is actually amazing! Haven't found someone on DA i've actually loved for ages! I love your mix of blurred backgrounds and detailed foreground. Ive been trying to master it for ages now. Have you got any tips for my foregrounds? I find i can do detail with a pen easily but as soon as I'm dealing with a brush i find it so hard. Do you sell any of your art?

Yes I usually draw a rough sketch to establish basic composition, and then I start to paint over it.
