Hi! Thank you for these kind words. 

I'm terrible at responsing. I had to focus more on my job and basics in drawing/painting.

I've seen your art a quite while ago and I was impressed. I don't know why I forgot to start watching you then.

Anyway - I like your style and even from last time I see nice improvement. You do really neat stuff, so I'd love to watch your progress

Hey V! Yes I mostly use pastels for blending the marker colors and soften them up but I don't use babypowder, is that some kind of trick, I've never heard about that?

Yep. It's a trick which I know from some Scott Robertson tutorials. Honestly he mixed black chalk (It's not charcoal - however, unfortunately, I have never seen black chalk yet), not pastel, with baby powder and then smudged it over paper with some sort of camera lens tissue. I believe it works with pastels too. I used regular tissue and effect wasn't pleasant to me, but maybe that was fault of bad pastels. I don't know though how was he able to provide more and less amount of chalk on the paper depending on how strong he was pressing tissue against it, because I had no effect with that - stronger, weaker - no difference. Maybe that the secret of that kind of chalk he used.

Anyway - the trick is to scrub some chalk with kife, and mix it with powder.

Sorry if my English is not fully understandable. I use it so rarely that I have tendency to write complex sentences : P and then I wonder how could I wrote that. And sadly, it's not better with German and Russian
