I've seen your poem on the front page, and I really find it beautiful and true.
I totally understand what you can feel and luckily there are people capable of understanding it.
But it remains so much intolerance in our society, and that's truly revolting.

I totally agree with you, you're doing the right way, people like that don't deserve attention.
Lot of people are enjoying to try bringing people down, everywhere, everytime. That's one of the stupidest attitude but also, unfortunately, one of the most common.

Thanx for the fave and what does your tat say? I have one with yin yang in red and black and the Chinese for "survivor" since I am doing just that since I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer a year ago and almost died twice, once in the Er and once on the operating table. Every day is a blessing, that's what I know now!

Mine actually means 'Miyavi'. It's the kanji for this Japanese rockstar. I know it may seem shallow, but Miyavi's music has been an enormous part of my life for a long time, and he's truly my inspiration for so many things, between writing and drawing, and even creating my own music. I saw him in concert a few months ago, and the next time I see him I'm going to get his signature for my other shoulder. It may seem like an obsession to some, but I only see it as adoration for a role model.

I don't think it's shallow when it is something that inspires you, especially to the extent he does, so I say, go for it. I have a tattoo with the Chinese symbols for Survivor because last year I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, but, after a year, I'm coming back almost as strong as I was before, so I say whatever makes your life better and worthwhile and harms nobody else is something I encourage. And thanks so much for the llama badge.

I think it's awesome that you're making such a big comeback. Do you mind if I ask what kind of cancer you had? I know it's a personal question, so you don't have to answer. It's just that I'm really active in the Relay for Life, so I know a little bit about most different kinds. Also, you're very welcome, and do you have a picture of your tat on dA?

I don't have a webcam or vid cam (it broke) so cannot show my tat. The kind of cancer I have is called a GIST-gastro intestinal stromal tumors, located in the colon. I had stage 4 and it had spread to my kidneys and liver. A tumor the size of a basketball was removed from my abdomen. I now have a stoma as a large part of my intestines had to be removed. I almost died because I had an air leak. Two surgeries were required.
