i was literally 30 minutes away from it when it happened and Orlando/Miami
are the only good places you can be open (and i'm openly pansexual)
my friend's cousin's boyfriend died. how atrocious is that. i don't even know

people should feel safe being who they are WHEREVER we are and it makes me so mad that people are still living in the past and treating lgbt like it's such a sin. i live up in pennsylvania, and in my particular area, most everyone is okay with being lgbt (in fact the majority of my friends are bisexual at the least), but the fact homophobia still exists just makes me so upset.

Living in the US is the least of your (lgbt) problems. Others countries (especially in Africa and Middle East) have it must worse- and are considered a crime to have same-sex marriage and you'll be sent to jail and even worse- executed. US may be "struggling" with lgbt rights, but we're making progress as it is, as lgbt community is allowed to have a voice whereas in other countries you'll be assassinated for speaking up for such rights.

Yeah, even women speaking up for themselves is looked down upon, especially in the middle east, no matter the age. There was an article that got a lot of news describing how I believe to what have been a 14 year old girl speaking up for women's rights somewhere in the middle east and she almost got assassinated for it, but she survived the shot miraculously (I thought she got shot in the head? i can't remember).

ok so this asshole joe is a huge transphobe, cheater, backstabber, liar, and my best friend decided to warn my ex best friend about him because he didn't want her to get hurt. she not only ignores him, but also goes ahead and TELLS JOE. joe threatened me with violence so i was paranoid all memorial day weekend. i talked to this girl and she's talking shit about my best friend to me, what she doesn't know is i am literally giving my best friend her screenshots. she insisted i LIED about what joe said and that my best friend is the bad influence. that week goes by and i'm fine all weekend until monday. i get to school on monday, paranoid as fuck. apparently this bitch is talking about my  best friend behind my back and spreading lies about him. she's afraid of me i think. either way this one kid had been intercepting me the information but today he didn't give me lunch (since i had been skipping) so i think she told him not to talk to me like the fucking bitch she is
