Old guy (well not really, but some days feels that way), husband, father, part time muso, part time digital artist, full time business analyst (bills need to get paid) and general oddball.Been mucking around with digital art since I first discovered Blender, Vue2 and Bryce. Toolbox has many tools but my most recent discovery is Mandelbulb 3D and not really using anything else right now.

Welcome to deviantart! Thanks for taking a look at my work. You sound a bit new to Mandelbulb 3D, it can have a bit of a learning curve. I hope to see more of your efforts. If I can be any help let me know. We seem to like the same artists.

Thanks very much for the welcome and for the watch as well. Only been using MB3D for about 2 weeks now but I think I'm getting a handle on the fundamentals of navigating and the lighting and rendering. I'm spending more time now exploring the different formulae to see what each one can do and then how they work together (although I've been avoiding messing with the Julia setting too much because every time I do, everything goes a bit psycho, all in good time
