Yeah, I heard about that. I'm not sure if I'll be able to go to it, though. I work a lot, and it seems they always fall on a day where my schedule's booked solid.

Once again, this was a while ago, but much has happened and I guess I've neglected DA a bit. I got a different job, finished upholstering the seats in the MR2 as well as built a 1000W sub system for it and wired it and in place and working great, but still have to paint the box and finish the trim to get the center console of the car back in. In more randomness of grammatical nonsense, the darling drawing is litterally in the same shape as it was last seen though I'm going to try and work on it tonight and I've drawn a bunch of other little fairy ideas. Th drawings are really just sketches so I don't think that I'll colour any of them in, but we'll see.
As always, your style shines through in your work. Very nice indeed. I like pirates

Hmm, plenty going on then. It's not like i can talk either, I've been forced to neglect DA due to a little car worries too... of course, I only crashed mine *wince* Still, nice to see you remembered to return. that's a good way of putting it *laughs* Yeah, it was a write off, mostly due to the age. Still, we got £1700 for a car worth £600, so I could be worse off

Thanks for asking! Drawing, hmmm, yes, well, I suppose I should be doing a lot more of that. I'm on the chapter that requires me to take at least an hour and do nothing but draw what's in front of me using grid squares to get the picture right. I haven't done that yet. Seems that in the last couple of months I haven't had much time to draw. I've been busy upholstering new car seats :-P Artistic, yes, but not drawing. I need to stop time around me so I can finish all my hobbies. :-D I started on a still of my computer/work/hobby/bedroom in order to finish that section. I'm using this as an oppourtunity to do my first 24"x18" drawing in pencil. It is intimidating to have to draw something so detailed so big. Maybe I'll finish it by the summer if I'm lucky.

Your drawing of faces is really good. That's something I just can't do yet. Keep it up, I love to see new works.

Ah, take all the time you need, I'm barely a third of the way through the book myself. As for faces, it's all biulding blocks... which are probably a little too 'left side' intensive, but I think I only ever use the right side for clothes and shading, or at least they've improved since i started that book.
