Aaawww, don't worry about it. ;D You're always at work? That's such a little shame, pretty woman like you shouldn't have to be working all the time, hahaha XD What do you work as, if you don't mind my asking? :0

haha, I wish! Mainly studying. I do animation so majority of my time is spend doing that, extremely tedious but I worth it! That plus I rarely ever come on DA anymore which is why it takes forever and a day to respond x( I'd like to be more consistent though!

Aw, man I'd love to do animation sometime. I'm not keen on the CG stuff but to try a bit of the more 'traditional' animation styles, I would kill to do that. XD I miss all my old childhood animations.
You should come on here a bit more so I can talk more with you! Haha, you seem pretty nice! ;D we should keep in contact more often. I hope you do well with your animation though, it sounds great. ^^

Animation is awesome I miss all my childhood shows too. They've been such a massive influence!!!
I prefer the traditional styles as well. Although I've tried CG, it's cool to learn and mess about with but not really something I want to specialise in.
Also if you want to try animation YOU DEFINITELY SHOULD!!! It can be fun but I'll be the first to admit its hard work and mind numbly tedious! There always seem to be tears involved and you tend to lose it at some point... but despite all the pain and suffering the end results are so worth it, haha
Thank you so much It's lovely speaking to you!
and I'll try to! It was my new years resolution to draw more. So depending how well I stick to that, I may actually have stuff to upload rather than projects

A awwww, glad to hear we have that in common. ^^ what was some of your favourite shows or animated movies when you were growing up then? I'm curious. XD I think CG is good in the respect that once you build the first character models, backgrounds etc you're basically laughing. Every bit of work you do speeds up the work towards the end. Traditional leaf-by-leaf animation is more of a steady, heavy workload the entire period of work I guess... But I still love it more. XD
I think people have to have a LOT of patience to do animation, but yeah I agree, it's certainly worth it.
That'd be great! But I certainly remember what it was like in college when I was overworked and had a mountain of briefs to go through, it was awful! :c I'd love to keep in contact and I can see how you get on at your courses and everything, even though it's stressful, I'm sure you'll do great. XD You're a smart girl, you ain't got nothing to worry about. ^^

As I child I was glued to Cartoon Network and owned almost all the Disney movies on VHS xD so pretty much all the classics. It's hard to choose favourites xS but Looney toons, Aladdin and Spirited Away are definitely up there.
That's the great thing about CG... although rendering is a pain in the butt! and I tend to have the worst luck with computers I always end up screwing something up or breaking it somehow. I'm ok with programs like autodesk soft-image (never used maya) but when something went wrong I almost never knew how to resolve it and it drove me insane!! I guess another reason why I sway more towards traditional although it takes ages it's so much less complicated X)
Yep, tell me about it. The workload and stress seem to get worse as the days go by HAHAHA, wish being 'smart' was true... not so much unfortunately but it'll be really nice to keep contact I'll definitely attempt to be on here more often this year and may upload some of my work in future

Oh god, me too. XD I wasn't a huge fan of Disney when I was younger but I certainly did watch them, one of my favourites was Little Mermaid. I dunno... I take a really kid-ish mood once in a while and I'll watch something. XD I needed a lot of consoling during Christmas there because I was super, super unwell after dinner with the family. I ended up wrapped up sniffling in a blanket and watching 'Tangled' in the dark. And of course, being Scottish, I bought Brave on DVD. XP
Spirited Away is a beautiful movie, and a nice hybrid of CG and traditional animation styles. If you haven't already, I really suggest watching the other Studio Ghibli movies. Some of them are kinda depressing, like Grave of the Fireflies, and Arrietty had a weird ending... So did Earthsea come to think of it, but they're still beautiful movies.
I think my attraction to traditional is simply that I like something physical in my hands while working. Paper, pen etc, I just feel more control with it than data on a screen. Plus... I like my hand painted physical copies. XD lol
I'm sure you're just being hard on yourself. oh, and I bookmarked your tumblr if you don't mind, just incase you start putting stuff up there too. ^^ Consider yourself stalked! Lmao XD
