Also, promasks are pretty hard to fight in. Unless gas is present, which is unlikely in any situation, it should stay off.

I know that, due to loosing a bet I had to run 6km's with a gasmask on.
I collapsed after 3. Air intake sucks balls, if the lenses start fogging up you're screwed. The heat is unbearable....
Basically, the last thing I want on my face is a gasmask. Or any other protective mask which prevents proper breathing. But in case of a chemical based attack, it's quite necessary to have one if you wish to "stay in the fight". (Or the other case, just remove the " " )
Byt still, I guess the photographer & model were going for awesome, instead of credibility and practicality.

hey man, just saying the dude in your profile pic probably shouldn't have a promask on over a thermal hood. Its a common hollywood war movie mistake. In reality they tend not to seal very well when you do that

I know that's a TERRIBLE way to attempt and seal a mask.
Correct way to do it is the mask on the "bottom" and all the other shit "later" or to be specific, placed on top.
No hair nor nothing is to be between tha mask and your facial skin. Filter has to be on tightly, just as the straps have to be tightened to near-unpleasant err...tightness?

lol yeah dude, I got all those stupid NCO habits like being completely anal about soldier skills and yelling when im trying to have a normal conversation. np, id like one of those agencies to hire me but i suppose they're content spending 10X more watching me even though there's no reason for it lol. They gotta worry about the right wing religious fanatics of both flavors foreign and domestic, meanwhile im a left wing atheist science professional thats a little resentful at some folks in the army who will inevitably humiliate themselves or get themselves killed by their own stupidity. Actually, two of them already did that right after shafting me 6 ways to sunday at OCS lol. they didn't think id make a good officer, then the had sex with each other and got caught which is a big no no in that school. Meanwhile I scored way higher on the OML physically and academically, kicked the dudes ass in combatives so much I had to start going easy on him because it was embarrassing (this dude used to be in the infanty, wtf), earned a WAY harder major (mine is chemistry, there's were business and sociology), earned it at a WAY harder (yet cheaper) school (I went to a state school that ranks 60 in US news world report. they did usniversity of Phoenix which isn't terrible but its not even close to the rigors I had to endure), and to top it off I left a job assiting in management of a biotech factory where I was in charge of 30 people who worked there longer than me and were also older than me. Despite all this, in a few peoples eyes I wasn't fit to be an officer bc the fat invalid who was my battle buddy during a fire watch went on face book behind my back and bought use a minor punishment that lasted TWO DAYS! Even after they were expelled for doing the nasty in a freaking tent during an FTX the peer eval I failed thanks to their rumors and subversion was carried out bc the first sgt I had was a fat stupid motorcycle riding r33tard with a southern speech impediment. Motherf***** rangers are r33tards, SF all the way. To give you an idea of how backwards this 1st sgt was, he told us he took his 6 year old son to HOOTERS with his WIFE and COULDNT STOP LAUGHING bc his 6 year old ordered milk from a hooters waitress. He said this to us and there were 9 females there. What kind of pee pee toucher makes a boob joke about their freaking son in the first place, much less infront of females and males with an IQ above 80! Sorry man lol, guess you know where im coming from now. Nobody has a good experience in the army, my cousins all have night terrors from fulujah. At least they got officers pay though. Lol theres another NCO habit, getting on a soap box trying to change the army
