Hi~Please call me Rirukuo or Riru-chan, or whatever you think appropriate. A lot of my friends think that I look- and act a lot like Fluttershy from MLP: Friendship is Magic, so if you know who she is you'll have a pretty good picture of me. I'm shy and I blush all the time. And I love animals sooo much~ I'm really derp sometimes, and I kind of live in my own world. And yeah, I kind of obsessed with My Little Pony nowadays
Aside from MLP, I love anime and manga, and cosplay is my favorite hobby. I make all my costumes myself. It takes a lot of time and money, but I really love it<3

Well, I have a white wig and I wanted to make a red circle like the one in this picture [link]
Do you know if that markers you used to enlight your pink wig would work with this? Or do you have any other idea?

You can use posca markers to do that, yes : ) But if you choose to draw the circle on the wig, the edges of the circle wont look as clean as in your picture. It will look something like this [link] . If you are going for that effect, the posca markers will work really well.
But if you want the circle to look clean and round you could cut out the shape on red fabric, craft foam or paper an glue it on the wig. Then it will look something like this [link] .

Mine is too heavy to wear it all day.^^
So I'm searching for a lighter method for it. But it should hold the swords and sheats. -.-

Oh, thank you so much! I'll upload the pictures here soon, it's just that my computer hated dA, so I don't get to be here that often. But I'll try to do it tonight!
I used pipe insulation like you told me to, and then I used cotton padding on top of that and then finally the fabric. Mine s really light! ok, not that light, but I don't think it weighs more than 3-4 kilos. But I didn't use any steel wire inside the pipe insulation, so maybe that's why mine is lighter? I just cut out lots and lots of small triangles off of the pipe where I wanted it to bend, and then I taped it together to hold the shape. If you get what i mean? I can try to draw it if you want, it's really easy, I just suck at explaining xD And I made my swords really really light. But the biggest one broke in the middle because someone sat on it -.-' So I think I have to make a new one if I'm cosplaying her again..

And your knot is much smaller than mine.
I want to make the knot smaller so the bows can hold the swords more upright.

Do you were noticed often that you was Jubei? What is your convention experience with the costume? Comfortable? horrible?

Oh, you made the swords out of wood? I think I'm going to make mine out of foam if I'm going to cosplay as her again.
I curved it by cutting out small triangles off of the pipe insulation and taping it together, like I tried to explain in the last comment xD
Not many people have watched HRSG, so I weren't recognized a lot : ( But the costume was really comfortable and everyone just loved the tail, lol! So I guess I'll get a lot of attention even though not many people know the anime or Jubei.
