School is going ok for me, except that physics and calculus are slowly making me go insane. I'm starting to get more whacked ideas in art, might be because of the different types of music i am listening to. Also i made a lot of friends after cross country season.

I was barely able to do shit in the college fair. The place was so packed that it was hard trying to figure out which schools where art schools or music schools. I eventually picked out a couple but ended up only applying for one, which was Academy of Arts University. e_e
I also applied to San Jose State and CSUMB.

FFFFFFFFFFFF i got pulled over by the cops in the middle of the street on New Years day, they thought i had a warrant.

My calc prof dressed like santa for our last lecture last winter. It was pretty amazing.
It sucks that you didn't get to take physics at Monterey High. The teacher there was pretty good, and he made physics tolerable... maybe even easy.

I AM PRETTY OKAY. A little worried about this semester. I did crappy last semester because I was way too lazy and the classes I took were way too hard for my laziness. And this semester, my classes seem like they might be a little easier, but I have like... all my midterms at the same time in February (one one Valentine's day T__T) and I am also selling things in the artist alley at a local convention.... So it will be chaos, for sure.
But here's hoping I survive, I guess?
The nerd club I'm in is still going well and strong, which is always good. It's nice to have somewhere to hide at school between classes o__o

Well I am only having trouble with physics, calculus is just meh.
My calculus teacher has a monotonic voice Its so hard to stay awake in his class.

I hear you with the difficulty staying awake. I sometimes think I have developed sudden-onset narcolepsy in university.
That sucks about the teachers! I liked a lot of those dudes. Some of them, not so much. But some of those teachers were my teachers back in ye olde grade 9 at my first high school. They were good, man.

yeah. Main thing about University I think is get your priorities straight. I did pretty okay first semester, better than many of my friends have gotten in any of their semesters. But then I started hanging out at the geek club every day, and spend like every waking moment that isn't class time with my boyfriend... it has seriously taken a toll on my marks.
So plan your time carefully, I guess?

I actually didn't really sell art at this convention. I sold like, quickie sketch commissions (and actually sold four of them), but other than that, I was just selling crocheted plushies and things. Cutesy stuff. I like me some cute things.
And they make a lot more money than non-instant commissions, I think.
People aren't really that willing to purchase expensive commission paintings and things at small cons.

Well they moved all the teachers around because the district thought that with new teachers it would make the schools better or something like that. Would get into more detail but its hard to explain.
